Making Frames

Making up frames for the bees is quite a time consuming activity when you imagine each colony needs 9 or 10 frames in the brood box and then the same in each super (you can end up adding 3 or 4 supers during a season). My poor wife does end up havng to put up with consistent tapping as I nail them up and the boxes of frames and wax that litter the place. I'm quite grateful she's so tolerant! I have placated the situation somewhat this year with the purchase of a nailgun which reduces the 'bangs' somewhat!
